Surely you have already found ceramic swallows hanging on the walls several times. These have a very special meaning for the Portuguese. During its history, we often leave our home to discover “new worlds” or “opportunities”, but in the end we always end up returning to our home. Like the swallow, despite being a migratory bird, which explores every corner of the world, once a year, it always returns to its original nest. The famous Portuguese craftsman, Bordallo Pinheiro, was the first to produce ceramic swallows, in 1881, and today there are many different ones of various sizes, shapes and colors.

Our wall in the reception area is populated by a flock of black birds in flight created specifically for this space. These birds flew freely from our wall in search of other skies.
