Known for its ancient tradition of pottery mastery, São Pedro do Corval is the land of Alentejo ceramics par excellence. Here, master potters still shape the clay by hand. They do this while slowly turning their wheel and sharing their life stories with visitors.

At Xerazarte, we find the tradition of decorating red clay bathed in white kaolin engobe in cups of various sizes to season meat or soften bread.  We chose a miniature model of this tradition for our ashtrays.

This small piece can keep your visit to Alentejo alive in your memory.
